Hey Gang! Just to give you a heads up on the goings on here at the Staple Pop HQ, I just figured I’d let you guys know we’re taking a bit of a break. Sadly it seems that because of different happenings here in the town of Austin (SXSW, Events at Austin Books, work, etc.) the gang seems to have numerous scheduling conflicts. So instead of giving you an episode with only one or two cast members present, we’ve decided to just take some time off. When will things get back on schedule? At this moment I’m not at liberty to say, but rest assured we will be back….and back with a vengeance when everything gets sorted out.
In the interim, please feel free to enjoy some of our past episodes. Also be on the lookout for our video report from Staple The Independent Media Expo 2008! Who knows, maybe we’ll release some other items of entertainment for you during the downtime.
Thanks for listening!
Hello all loyal Staple Pop listeners. The crew has just come off a busy weekend of promoting the podcast at Staple in Austin. Sadly, because of this, there will be no new episode this week. Don’t start crying yet, we’ll be back later with more comedy gold and new reviews for all.  But while you’re waiting, look around the site and listen to some of your favorite episodes form Staple Pop past. Also watch the site this week for our wrap up about Staple and thank you all for being patient with this week and for taking the time to listen to all of us talk…
The Staple Pop gang is joined by comic creator and self-publisher Rob Osborne to talk about his newest comic, The Nearly Infamous Zango. We discuss the exploits of the world’s laziest supervillain, Rob’s mastery of unique self-promotion, and the true origin of Thundersauce. Check out absolutetyrant.com for a sample of Zango, and for the love of pancakes, buy, read and tell your friends about The Nearly Infamous Zango.
